News Americas, OSTRAVA, Czech Republic, Thurs. June 29, 2017: The world’s fastest man, Triple Olympian Usain Bolt, had a seemingly tough time at the 56th Ostrava Golden Spike in the Czech Republic earlier.

The famed Jamaican athlete barely held off Cuba’s Yunier Perez to take the win by a bare three seconds in the much touted men’s 100-m.

Bolt won in a time of 10:06 after a slow start, while Perez was right behind with 10:09. Still Bolt took to Twitter to tweet after: “9th time just as sweet as the 1st time #Ostrava.”

He also insisted he would be ready for the world championships, which begins on August 5th, saying: “I never worry. I always tell you guys if my coach is not worried, I am not worried. I just need to go to my doctor and get everything checked out to make sure everything is smooth and continue training so when my next race in Monaco comes [in the Diamond League on 21 July], I’ll see where I am at.”
